HIRING FIRST AND SECOND SHIFT CNC Machinist

Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery to ensure efficient and

uninterrupted production. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC machinist must have excellent mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, machine tools, and lathes, used for cutting, turning and milling

• Will work with CNC Turning, 3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis set-up/operator for mill and lathe machines

• In addition to having strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, must have good analytical skills and be able to read blueprints and mechanical drawings

• Precision measurement tools such Micrometer, Calipers, Indicator, Height gauges, Drop Indicators, Depth Micrometers

• Must be familiar with in cycle probing, modern machining tools/techniques

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Will be machining hardened steel components and aluminum, holding extremely tight tolerances

• At least 4 years of experience doing set up/operating CNC mills or lathes is required.

Specific Responsibilities Related to CNC Machinery:

  • Calibrate CNC machines to ensure precision and accuracy in production.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machine controllers, including Fanuc, Siemens, and Haas systems.

  • Replace and align machine components such as spindles, ball screws, and linear guides.

  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.

  • Implement software updates and parameter changes to CNC controls.

  • Perform diagnostics using specialized tools and software for CNC machinery.

  • Ensure proper alignment and operation of CNC tooling and fixtures.
