Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client based in Clearwater, Florida!

Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming invoices via email and mail, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Conducting 3-way matching of packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.

• Conducting full General Ledger (GL) coding and ensuring accuracy of GL codes for Purchase Order (PO)-based invoices.

• Preparing batches for weekly check runs and getting checks ready for signatures.

• Completing all tasks before month-end close, ensuring the ability to handle higher volume.

• Setting up new vendors in the system.

• Checking inbox daily and printing necessary documents.

• Handling of Credit Card reconciliations by coding credit card receipts.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of AP experience

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
