Our client, a leading organization in the finance sector, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Clayton NC

Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

What's the Job?

• Process and verify invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in accounts payable is required.

• High-level proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
