Graybar Executive Assistant to General Counsel in Clayton, Missouri

As an Executive Assistant to General Counsel, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks and duties.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain calendar for meetings, appointments, and travel

  • Screen communication, including mail, email, and telephone calls

  • Make travel arrangements

  • Provide administrative support

  • Review various contracts and agreements for compliance with Company policy and overall risk profile

  • Provide general litigation support as required

  • Prepare initial drafts of standard correspondence and agreements for review by supervisor

  • Perform legal research under supervision

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years experience required; 4+ years experience preferred

  • Two-year degree required; 4 year degree in Business, English or Pre-Law preferred

  • Knowledge of legal concepts, corporate and employment law

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • Analytical and organizational skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to interact effectively and in a professional manner with diverse internal and external customers

  • Ability to exercise good judgment

  • Ability to maintain high degree of versatility and initiative

Pay Details:

  • The hourly rate for this position is $26.44 - $28.85; subject to change based on experience.
