Maintenance Utility Worker - $14-15 based on experience

What will you be doing?

• Assisting other maintenance personnel as required; furnishes materials, tools and supplies.

• Performing equipment maintenance tasks such as grease, lube, check and add fluids, clean and/or change filters daily.

• Using hand and power tools, electric drills, presses and grinders to perform maintenance tasks.

• Removing dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.

• Painting machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.

• Bending, cutting, and threading pipe, cutting openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and sealing pipe joints with sealing compound.

• Cutting out and joining parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings.

• Patching or replacing plaster or plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.

• Clearing clogged drains, and replacing plumbing fixtures.

• Cleaning work area, tools, and equipment.

• Abiding by all Company Policies including, but not limited to, safety, environmental, and plant rules; practices good housekeeping at all times.

• Performing other duties as required to support the mission of the department and the facility.

What do you bring?

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Fork Truck Certification required (training provided if needed

• Valid Driver's license

• Ability to pass a drug screen
