DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will assist with the operations of our therapeutic recreation department by facilitating individual and group activities in line with our patients' individualized treatment plans. Your role will involve creating meaningful leisure opportunities that cater to patients' needs and interests. You will also observe, assess, and report on patients' progress toward their personal goals, ensure their safe escort to and from activities across various areas and program buildings, and maintain a clean and safe environment in your assigned spaces to minimize hazards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation to facilitate reporting functions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating weekends and holidays as assigned. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee (commonwealth title); or Six months of work experience providing care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
