Job Title: Senior Manager Trade Compliance – Operations Finance

Reports To: AVP- Trade Compliance Finance

What You Will Do:

Ensure Compliance of Import and Export for the various L’Oreal North America legal entities

  • For products classification and goods origin assessments.

  • Reconciliations, post summary corrections and prior disclosures management

  • Provide timely customs clearance information to Customs, Partners Governmental Agencies and Brokers.

    Responsibilities

  • Keep contacts with Customs Border and Protection and various Partner Governmental Agencies to ensure compliant trades and smooth imports and exports clearances, by providing all the products, vendors and manufacturers information required.

  • Keep our systems and data bases up to date with the above information.

  • Monitor Customs borders and protections new regulations, new rulings, sanctions and controls, customs tariffs evolution and customs codes changes.

  • Calculate impact of value import changes and relevant reconciliations or post summary corrections applications

  • Conduct assessments of origin and preferential origin of goods.

  • Issue customs certifications as required by customs and our customers (Certificates of origin, certificates from Chamber of commerce, Certificates to fight counterfeits,….)

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Logistics, or Supply Chain, or Computer Engineering, Data analytics or Business-related field required.

  • 6-8 year’s experience within trade compliance.

  • Must have computer skills and advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft programs.

  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; business acumen; time management capability, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Global Trade Management software experience; One source/Cargotrans/Fastweb or similars is a plus

  • People Management experience of 3+ years

  • Hybrid presence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customs Brokerage Certificate constitutes a plus.
