Hiring for experienced Tool Room Supervisor

Location : Claremont, NC

Hours : 8am-4pm

Pay : Salary up to 80k

Description:

This company in the Claremont area is hiring for an experienced tool room supervisor. They are driving new business with Bosch, and have been steady with Mercedes, BMW (caps for hydraulic hoses), biodegradable flower pots (making 100 pallets per day), and more. The tooling department helps the automation machinery and not many manual machines. They also help with thermoforming and injection molding machines. Just built a second plant, expanding rapidly. Plans to continue expanding and adding new customers- next 5 years.

Job Details:

1st- 8:00a-4:00p (must be willing to work late/ot if needed)

• Will be managing 5- Looking for a leader who is HANDS ON all the time

• Willing to train and develop the team

• Brings knowledge with injection molding, thermo forming processes

• Must have tooling experience (mold repairs, changes, maintenance, etc)

• Fiberglass exp (+)

• Ideal: degree

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• The Tooling Supervisor is responsible for the preventative maintenance, upkeep, repair, and “return-to-operation” of injection molding tools that are actively engaged in producing quality products

• Responsible for the production and quality of products

• Responsible for maintaining/enforcing safe working conditions, and ensuring that all Environmental Health and Safety and OSHA regulations are met

• Schedules and directs leads, utilities, and mold changers in the Molding Department.

• Works with production control to obtain molding requirements
