We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at our folding carton plant in Claremont, NC. The main function of the Maintenance Tech is to manage the electrical and mechanical maintenance of our manufacturing machinery. Pay is commensurate with experience. Our current shift schedule is 3 12-hour shifts with rotation being 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights

Responsibilities:

:\u2022 Assume the role and responsibilities of all Claremont Plant equipment working in a safe and efficient manner

\u2022 Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and general building maintenance

\u2022 Install new and upgrade equipment as needed

\u2022Troubleshoot and repair all equipment to keep production going in a timely manner

\u2022 Assist with inventory to identify parts and new parts to prevent minimum breakdown or machine downtime

\u2022 Performs preventive and operational maintenance to ensure a functional and safe environment

\u2022 Maintain records utilizing the computer of all work completed, time spent, and materials used

\u2022 Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when completing various tasks.

Qualifications

\u2022 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.

\u2022 Have a safe work history and perform safe work habits.

\u2022 Possess good written and verbal communication skills.

\u2022Be a self-starter and a team-oriented employee

\u2022 Have knowledge of general machine shop equipment (welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipefitting, air compressors, fire protection, and automation)

\u2022Both Mechanical and Electrical experience.

\u2022 PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
