Warn Industries Product Manager in Clackamas, Oregon

Position Summary:

The Warn Group is comprised of multiple premium brands that are known for their execution and quality. As a Product Manager, you would be responsible for the overall visions, coordination, and executing of Warn Industries product categories, ensuring that our product exceed customer expectations while aligning with the brand vision and business goals.

Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. In addition to maintaining a high level of trust, integrity and ethical standards, all employees are also expected to promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, protocols and guidelines while working in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage to property and injury to the employee and others.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute product strategies that drive growth and profitability.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new products.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.

  • Define product requirements and features based on customer feedback and market insights.

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including pricing and inventory management.

  • Assist sales and marketing teams with planning and executing market activation activities such as promotions, partnerships, and events.

  • Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product portfolio and lifecycle.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a related industry.

  • Relevant alternative work experience in the automotive industry can be considered as a substitute.

  • Strong understanding of product development processes and project management principles.

  • Track record of successfully launching and managing products from concept to market.

  • Proven ability to collect and analyze market and product data.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background and ability to quickly understand complex systems.

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.

  • Experience in the outdoor industry or off-road enthusiast market.

  • Proven record of growing brands and premium product categories

Availability Requirements:

Due to the nature and scope of the essential functions of this position, regular attendance is required. Approximately 40 hours/week is required to efficiently perform the job duties of this position, including presence at designated internal and external meetings. This position may also require availability and accessibility to attend events of normal business operating hours in the early mornings, evenings, and/or during weekends.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence at the highest levels in the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other team members. Strong conflict resolution skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under degree requirements. Higher skills may be required depending on actual job duties.

Physical and Visual Activities:

Standing, Walking, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Balancing, Stooping, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, Acuity-Far, Acuity-Near, Depth Perception, and Field of Vision.

Physical Demands:

May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting up to 80 pounds with assistance. Travel by car or plane will be required to attend events, visit customer and conduct market research.

Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:

Must be able to work in a shop environment, as well as a usual office environment. May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals, and vapors.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software:

Personal computer, fax machine, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. May minimally operate test equipment and/or basic hand tools.
