Position Overview The IT Process Improvement Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our manufacturing operations by optimizing IT processes, implementing ERP solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes/engineering, IT, ERP implementation, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and a strategic mindset to lead cross-functional teams to measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Information Technology - Manage a small staff supporting all IT infrastructure, security, telephone systems, applications. Locations include La Verne, City of Industry, CA, Brea, CA, Howell, MI with satellite offices in Montana and Ohio.
  • Process Improvement - Analyze current IT and manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across the organization.
  • ERP Implementation - Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of a new ERP implementation project within our manufacturing environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement - Utilize Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and apply data-driven insights to address process inefficiencies and optimize operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams to identify needs, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that meet operational and strategic goals.
  • Project Management - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Developdetailed project plans, allocate resources, and track progress.
  • Training and Development - Provide training and support to staff on new processes and systems. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
  • Risk Management - Identify potential risks associated with IT and process changes. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Maintain effective communication with all levels of the organization. Prepare and present reports on project status, process improvements, and performance metrics to senior management.
