Hiring for Shipping and Receiving Specialist, in Minneapolis, MN, US

Pay $18-22/hr

Job Description

The candidate is responsible for receiving incoming products, verifying parts off Purchase Orders, picking orders, and preparing product for shipping by crating them and using FedEx/UPS or LTL to ship products. Additionally, the candidate will utilize Microsoft Great Plains software to document inventory. When things are slow in Shipping, the candidate should be comfortable with helping out in Production.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming products and verify parts off Purchase Orders.

• Pick orders and prepare products for shipping.

• Crate products and use FedEx/UPS or LTL to ship products.

• Utilize Microsoft Great Plains software to document inventory.

• Assist in Production when Shipping is slow.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of Shipping Experience with UPS/FedEx or LTL Shipments.

• 1+ year of Crating.

• Experience with Mechanical Assembly.

• Proficiency in Inventory Control and Cycle Counts.

• Strong Computer Skills.

Work Environment

Smaller team of 6-7 on the Production Line with a family culture. The work environment is climate-controlled, and the dress code is casual. Working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
