EMSL Analytical is seeking a Senior Accountant in Cinnaminson, NJ. This position will be onsite 5 days per week. The role will include working with our Vice President of Finance, Controller, and Accounting manager on various projects and accounting cycle deadlines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist VP of Finance, Controller and Accounting Manager with monthly close, performing various journal entries, reconciliations and schedules. Actively manage retail inventory systems and physical counts.Support Products division billing and help desk as needed.Prepare monthly inventory transaction journal entries.Prepare complex reconciliations (bank and various insurance).Manage and periodically reconcile sales tax activity for sales and use tax return processing.Perform retail inventory and general ledger month end closing entries.Prepare various government filings, various special monthly reports, assist with year-end schedules.Support VP of Finance, Controller and Accounting Manager on special projects as needed.Year end overtime as needed.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- preferred.Eight plus years’ of experience with relevant accounting experience.Knowledge of Macola or other packaged modular accounting software is a plus.Knowledge of Avalara or similar sales and use tax filing software is a plus.Ability to interact with all levels of employees and departments.Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.Self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented and organized.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Background Check Required Available Shift:Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Training schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and a flexible spending accountFor consideration of employment applicants MUST apply through the careers website:https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=EMSL&cws=40&rid=4351 To find out more about EMSL Analytical, Inc. please visit our website at: www.emsl.com EOE including Veterans and Disabled
