UC Health is hiring a Utilization Management and Physician Advisor Vice President. The Vice President (VP) will collaborate with cross-functional teams to operate the Physician Advisor Program, lead the system-wide CDI initiative, and work to augment utilization management. This position reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) with an indirect report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). • MD with an advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATION:

• Physician licensure in the state of Ohio

• Recommends best practices in Utilization review, Physician advisor, CDI, Quality & Performance, and standards to drive continuous improvement.
• Engages medical staff and physician leaders on resource utilization to support high-quality, efficient, and effective care delivery.
• Utilizes existing reports and recommends insights that will drive value outcomes and performance in key performance indicators, care continuum operational outcomes, KPIs, and impact.
