UC HEALTH LLC VP of Finance Operations and Inpatient Services in CINCINNATI, Ohio

UC Health is hiring a VP of Finance Operations and Inpatient Services. The VP of Finance Operations and Inpatient Services reports directly to the CFO, with a major customer in the Senior Vice President of Inpatient Operations. This position will work closely with the Finance and Operations leadership team in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets and business plans. The VP of Finance Operations and Inpatient Services will identify and implement opportunities to improve financial operations and performance. This position will also ensure effective financial management reporting is in place to monitor and track. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets the results of operations while working with senior leadership to achieve targeted results. Works with site and system leaders to meet department, site, and system financial goals and identifies, develops, and implements opportunities to improve financial performance.

Demonstrates understanding of the healthcare industry and market dynamics, trends, competitors, regulations, and managed healthcare environment in our primary and secondary markets.

Provides financial education (key business policies, processes, and guidelines of UC Health) at key site and system-level meetings.

Supports the annual budget (operating and capital) process.

Provides direction on how to utilize tools and set budgets.

Finalizes the budget and develops strategies and alternatives to achieve targets.

Prepares, analyzes, and collaborates with others to develop financial proformas for business opportunities.

Demonstrates outstanding financial skills.

Works with clinical leaders to perform forecasting.

Assists with the development of operational strategic analysis in support of clinical operations.

Reviews and helps prioritize requests for financial analysis or reports.

Understands and can easily and clearly articulate the fiscal, demographic, and market trends.
