The Sherwin-Williams Company Supply Chain Scheduler/Planner in Cincinnati, Ohio

This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. They provide timely planning and scheduling of batches to achieve both internal financial goals and customer requirements. This position is responsible for scheduling and transferring the material to distribution centers when required & controls inventory levels in various distribution centers. Additional Information Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, Occasional Weekends Travel: 5% This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. Schedule production at the facility Adjust production schedule to accommodate emergency situations Review exception reports to ensure customer service defined by division goals Monitor product availability, order completeness, inventory deployment, transportation costs Issue batch tickets to blending and production floor Research and report on any issues regarding batch ticket questions or concerns Update pull boards to meet customer requirements Order raw materials and packaging components Maintain systems to ensure accurate information and timely production of product to meet customer service goals Expedite order changes as needed, such as requirement or delivery date changes Maintain accurate records of purchases through system and supply requisites Review acknowledgements of purchase order daily for any discrepancies Initiate and maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers Review MRP (Material Resource Planning) daily for unusual production to determine inventory quantities and levels Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or have at least four (4) years of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations role Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations role or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an operations or supply chain function Preferred Qualifications: Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. Have prior work experience using MRP (Material Resource Planning) and MPS (Material Production Scheduling) systems Have prior work experience in procurement, buying, and/or scheduling Have at least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility Prior work experience using planning software such as QAD, Oracle, or SAP Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action,
