Description: A Structural Analyst job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, and at least 7 years of experience in turbomachinery structural analysis. In this job your primary responsibility will be structural finite element analysis on gas turbine systems and components. You will report to a FEA Group Leader as a key member of a team to deliver engineering analysis solutions to Belcan"s customers. This position is at the Belcan corporate headquarters office in Blue Ash, Ohio.

Structural Finite Element Analyst job duties:

• Generate and maintain structural finite element models

• Perform structural analysis, evaluate results, and prepare formal reports of the findings

• Utilize Belcan and customer-specific FEA practices, methods, and lifing tools

• Maintain strong communication with your internal team, management, and the client

• Mentor and instruct junior analysts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

• 7 years of jet engine structural analysis experience using ANSYS

• US Citizenship is required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is absolutely required

• Ability to work in Ansys APDL

Additional desirable qualifications:

• Master"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

• 10+ or more years in the aerospace industry

• Experience with OEM-specific turbomachinery analysis practices and tools

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $104,000 to 145,600 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
