Description We are actively recruiting for a Staff Accountant role in our accounting team, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing support to various individuals within the department, and will be involved in a multitude of accounting tasks, including cash receipts processing, bank reconciliations, month-end closing, and general ledger upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

• Overseeing the processing of cash receipts to ensure proper allocation and recording.

• Reviewing and maintaining the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Assisting in the preparation of property compliance documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Participating in the annual operating budget process and forecasting activities to help guide financial planning.

• Performing month-end closing activities to finalize financial records for the period.

• Managing property expense allocations on a monthly basis to ensure accurate distribution of costs.

• Assisting in the preparation of workpapers for annual audits to ensure thorough and accurate reporting.

• Calculating management fees per property management agreements to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.

• Requesting replacement reserves as needed to ensure sufficient funds for property maintenance and improvements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Demonstrable skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Understanding of General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with NetSuite software

• Proficiency in using Oracle software

• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software

• Familiarity with SAP software
