Sinclair Broadcast Group Sports Anchor/Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) in Cincinnati, Ohio

Cincinnati is home to The Bengals, Reds, FC Cincinnati, UC, Xavier – and some of the best high school teams in the country!

WKRC/Local 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Sports Anchor/Multimedia Journalist (MMJ). The ideal candidate will be able to anchor, report, produce, and shoot/edit video for daily sports segments. Candidate will also actively engage our digital audience through relevant posts on key social media platforms.

Skills and Experience:

  • Sharp sports news judgment

  • The ability to tell an NPPA style story

  • Excellent technical skills

  • Strong reporting and anchoring skills

  • Ability to post on social media

  • The ability to work well independently

  • Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years sports anchoring/reporting experience is required

  • Experience with live shots is required

  • Experience with Live-U is a plus
