Synchrony Senior Specialist, Sales Process Surveillance in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

The position of a Senior Specialist, Sales Process Surveillance is responsible for supporting ongoing surveillance activities and providing operational support. This will include leading Surveillance campaigns involving transactions, applications, statements, online applications and transactions, and others, consolidating results and reporting out on findings, providing insights and recommendations, and interacting with multiple stakeholders throughout the business.

Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform required assessments to ensure specified client processes meet business requirements.

  • Track status of active Surveillance campaigns to ensure timely execution.

  • Maintain and publish job aids for Surveillance activities.

  • Preparation/maintenance of Surveillance campaign result dashboards.

  • Develop recommendations for increasing effectiveness and efficiency of Surveillance routines.

  • Balance workload with peers to accomplish aggressive goals with minimal supervision.

  • Participation in cross-functional project teams as required.

  • Report out on findings to internal stakeholders/leadership.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, a high school diploma and a minimum of 2+ years of functional, risk and/or process management, Surveillance, Governance, Compliance, or Operational Risk experience within a Financial Services organization

  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience with clients or customer support

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with Sales Force & Fiserv system

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, including report writing and cell functions such as formulas, sorting and grouping)

  • Experience creating presentations and business documents (i.e. job aids)

  • This is a Monday - Friday day shift schedule; flexibility is required when needed

Grade/Level: 07

The hourly rate range for this position is $24.00 - $33.50/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
