Then you sound like a Worldpayer. The Senior Manager of Intercompany Accounting is responsible for intercompany accounting and reconciliations for both U.S. and foreign entities. The Senior Manager provides global oversight for all intercompany balances in preparation for the month end close elimination process. Additionally, this role provides accounting support in accordance with U.S. GAAP. What you will be doing: Partner with colleagues from different functions or different locations to coordinate and execute the monthly journal entry process for intercompany Perform month-end close tasks and process accounting transactions for intercompany through the ERP subledger or manual journal entries timely and accurately Perform GL account analysis and account reconciliations for all intercompany areas Review global intercompany balances prior to commencing eliminations and explain variance between Intercompany AP and AR at entity level Ensure financial results are in accordance with GAAP Recommend process improvements, and participate in or lead cross-functional initiatives to implement best practices Work with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, A/P and A/R to support overall intercompany transactions and settlement Maintain a control environment in which the processes are consistent with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and company policies Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and testing of new processes Interact with internal and external auditors to ensure the quarterly review and audit activities are executed in a timely manner Work with team members to ensure successful accomplishments of individual and team goals and objectives Support ERP enhancements, reporting enhancements, and UAT testing Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff Consults with business management on accounting matters Plays a key role in the monthly and quarterly close processes Participates in special projects to ensure financial accounting, reporting and company-wide operational issues are properly identified and addressed Works closely with all financial and operational staff to ensure effective communication Performs ad hoc analysis as needed What you need: Bachelor's degree in accounting 8+ years of experience with consolidation process and/or intercompany transactions CPA preferred Thorough understanding of GAAP Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with ERP general ledger systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Strong management skills, including team building, coaching and mentoring skills What we offer you: Opportunities to innovate in fintech Inclusive and diverse team atmosphere Professional and personal development Resources to contribute to your community Competitive salary and benefits #LI-BJ1 Privacy Statement Worldpay is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide
