About the team As part of an Agile team, you'll lead and support the team to deliver its commitments in a predictable way according to the SAFe definition and with the expected quality. The Quality Assurance Analyst Test Lead will report to the CORE Merchant QA Manager and work closely with each discipline within the Delivery Team (Project Manager, Product Owner, Design, Development and Test) to complete test analysis, test design and automated test execution, integrating closely to deliver user stories on the Launchpad platform. What you'll own Organize, manage, and update comprehensive manual and automated testing plans for new and existing platform functions with input from quality engineers, system analysts and developers. Organize and lead manual automated testing efforts for one or more areas within the E2E ecosystem. Assist with multiple End to End testing projects and simultaneously maintain Agile and Safe project management methodologies. Assist the E2E leads in collaborating with Product and IT Development teams to collect requirements and design solutions following best practices for all client/customer facing applications. Assist to ensure all planned testing is completed on-time, with the highest quality, and within budget. Ensure all Quality Assurance and testing activities are conducted according to the SDLC and Agile SAFe practices. Inputs and maintains test artifacts and updates data in test/project management tools. Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms. Report automated execution results; document and manage defects to resolution using provided tools. Responsible for defect management including usage of tools like JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, Rally etc. Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices. What you bring Must exhibit strong knowledge in the concepts of software testing lifecycles and in different types of testing. (Functional, Regression, Integration and System Testing). Expertise in SDLC & STLC phases includes - Requirements analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Estimation, Test Artifacts documentation, Test Execution, Defect Management, Test Reporting and Review. Exposure to automation framework: TestNG, Junit, Cucumber/Jbehave (BDD), Protractor for Angular JS based Applications or any equivalent test automation tool. Project work exposure in Continuous Integration (CI/CD). Working knowledge of Selenium, API automation with Java. Eclipse/IntelliJ, GitHub, DB client tools (any), Postman. Working experience in test automation (written in Java, Selenium RestAssure (API) and/or Cucumber). Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and non-technical issues. Good problem-solving skills, commitment to detail and the ability to learn quickly. Strong analytical skills, able to provide support to solve business or production problems. Highly collaborative, supportive and team player that demonstrates a proactive 'can do' attitude. Passion about sharing knowledge and best practices.
