Robert Half Project Manager (Health Care) Cincinnati, Ohio

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager with a focus on Health Care in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Project Manager will primarily be supporting government programs, with an emphasis on Medicare markets and mandate projects. The role does not require technical skills but will involve a range of business-oriented and operational projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating resources, schedules, and task assignments for large or multiple small projects

• Serving as a primary contact with user groups and systems management

• Undertaking systems analysis

• Managing business process improvement initiatives

• Conducting training sessions and developing workflows

• Producing and maintaining project documentation

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

• Utilizing Agile and Waterfall delivery methods for project implementation

• Supervising staff indirectly as required

• Understanding and managing project plans, including the creation and management of schedules.

This role will likely involve a variety of projects over time, depending on business needs, and will require an understanding of the healthcare industry due to the crossover of projects across multiple business areas such as risk adjustment and network provider. Proficiency in tools such as Smartsheets and JIRA would be advantageous. Requirements • Applicant must possess strong documentation skills and be able to effectively record and maintain project details.

• The candidate should have experience in training team members and stakeholders, facilitating knowledge transfer and capacity building.

• Proven ability in project planning and scheduling is essential, including the ability to set realistic timelines and allocate resources efficiently.

• Compliance with health care regulations and standards is a must, with a keen understanding of government programs and Medicare.

• Supervisory skills are required, with a history of managing teams and overseeing the work of others.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software or similar time management tools is beneficial.

• The candidate should have demonstrable experience in project implementation, from inception to completion.

• Knowledge of various project management methods, including but not limited to Agile and Waterfall, is a necessity.

• The ability to produce clear and measurable project deliverables is essential.

• Coding skills, particularly in R code, will be advantageous.

• Experience with JIRA for project management and issue tracking is highly desirable.

• A deep understanding of the Health Care industry, including risk adjustment and system analysis, is required.

• The applicant should have experience with project planning within the health care sector.

• System administration skills, particularly in relation to Content Management Systems (CMS), are beneficial.

• Proficiency with SharePoint Workflow for process automation and streamlining is desirable.
