PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Oversee Plant Operations including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, and productivity. Ensure compliance with all company polices, practices, and processes. Conduct annual performance reviews, regular and ongoing performance coaching, employee counseling, and disciplinary actions as required. Maintain accurate payroll time & attendance records. Ensure all established deadlines are met to process payroll. Ensure clear and efficient cross shift and cross functional communications are maintained at all times. Support all established communication processes and procedures. Promote safety awareness and enforce all safety related policies and procedures. Conduct and ensure compliance with all required safety trainings. Maximize shift productivity by leveraging Cross Training, Visual Management, 5S, and LEAN manufacturing techniques. Ensure key production metrics are accurately and consistently monitored. Investigate and report on variances to anticipated result(s) Identify, evaluate, track, and maintain continuous improvement opportunities. Conduct production labor planning (extended hours, overtime hours, vacation, personal time, leave of absences, etc.) to ensure all production demands are met. Prepare and maintain production, inventory, and employee records as required (discipline, Time and Attendance, Quality, etc.). Monitor information regarding customer complaints and assist in problem resolution where needed. Manage training and development for assigned team including but not limited to new employee orientation, safety training, and cross training. Provide instruction to assigned team on quality issues, work instructions, and safe assembly techniques Other activities as defined. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have previous leadership experience in a progressive manufacturing environment. Associate's degree in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business-related field is preferred. Relative experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven ability to manage and meet established metrics (on-time production, order completion, process improvement, material flow, and production efficiency). Previous experience with ERP Systems with knowledge of production & scheduling. Must have strong leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and others).
