Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Platform Engineer for a contract opportunity through the end of the year supporting our largest financial client in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. There is a strong preference is to have this individual hybrid onsite in Cincinnati but will consider remote for an all-star candidate.

This individual will be working on an agile squad currently being build built out to support one of the companys most business-critical client-facing applications. They will play a crucial role in modernizing this platforms payment services technology.

 Collaborate with third party technology vendor and our internal development teams to design, build, and maintain a resilient and secure engineering platform

 Help lead development and maintenance on the platform, a digital banking software solution, working on the backend systems, integrating new features and improving existing code.

 Help with infrastructure management components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance including SOME cloud services, containers, and orchestration tools

 Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance

 Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align platform capabilities with business needs

Skills and Requirements

6-8+ years of experience within platform engineering:

 Deploying, integrating, configuring and supporting applications (payment services applications ++)

 Can deploy and run tests to make sure the integrations work

 Backbase or similar digital banking software

 API Management / gateway- experience creating, consuming, and integrating from API systems

  Middleware (WebSphere or MQ)

 Oracle Banking industry experience Visa, Amex or specifically working within Payment services or transactions

 Cloud (AWS)

 Node.JS

 Java Script

 Containerization experience

 Openshift null
