Serves in a leadership role in the service/administrative activities of the Department/Division. Qualifications Education/Experience Professor: * M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree * Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for medical license. * Appropriate medical and payor credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices * Completion of all required pre-employment activities. * Professor appointment or eligibility required. * Generally, requires at least five years of service at the Associate Professor rank. Preferred: * Board certification Associate Professor: * Medical Degree (MD/DO) or their equivalent. * Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license. * Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices. * Completion of all required pre-employment activities. * Associate Professor appointment or eligibility required. * Generally, it requires at least five years of service at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preferred: * Board certification Assistant Professor: * Medical Degree (MD/DO) or their equivalent. * Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license. * Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices. * Completion of all required pre-employment activities. * Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility required. * Board eligibility or Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology Preferred: * Board certification Skills & Competencies Development Knowledge of growth and development Family-centered care Understand and support family-centered care.
