Job Title: Production Controller

Job Description

Responsible for planning, committing, coordinating, and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process; including receiving, manufacturing, outside vendors, and shipping to meet customer delivery requirements. Day to day, this person will run parts on an as needed basis to and from different areas and departments within the manufacturing facility. They will use a push cart to transport the parts, and will also require lifting parts onto and off of the cart. Candidates must be able to operate a smart phone and have basic computer skills for scanning parts and tracking locations. Computer experience and data entry experience is needed for this position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, commit, coordinate, and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.

• Ensure timely receiving, manufacturing, and shipping to meet customer delivery requirements.

• Transport parts to and from different areas and departments within the manufacturing facility using a push cart.

• Lift parts onto and off of the cart.

• Scan parts and track locations using a cell phone.

• Perform data entry tasks and operate basic computer functions.

• High School Diploma or GED (education verification required)

• US Citizenship

• Ability to stand on feet and walk around most of the shift

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility with a potentially loud noise level. The facility is climate-controlled and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
