The Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineering Team. Interested professionals should be motivated by groundbreaking technologies, being a champion for change, and have a vision for identifying and aligning technology solutions to help support business opportunities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supporting network solutions that will interface with P&G manufacturing systems and networks including firewall, LAN, and wireless services.

  • Supporting the lifecycle management of network solutions used in the OT space.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like network, cloud, and security groups to ensure Enterprise compliance, high availability, and long-term viability of key solutions.

  • Providing support for critical company initiatives that have dependencies on network services.

  • Providing second-level network Incident Management in collaboration with Network Operations; with the main focus on service restoration.

  • Building support documentation and delivering training to Network Operations staff.

  • Ensuring effective communication to internal customers including Project Managers, Operations, Business Units, Suppliers, Peer Organizations, and IT stakeholders.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations and provide customer-facing support in a professional manner.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical/IT field, OR 5+ years of relevant network experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of Industrial Ethernet networking used in manufacturing environments - Rockwell, Siemens, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience working with a TCP/IP network.

  • Advanced knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings including Cisco, F5 Networks, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet

  • Demonstrable understanding of network load balancers and firewalls

  • Expertise with the following operating systems; Cisco IOS/NXOS, Juniper JunOS, Linux, Unix, Microsoft

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite for effective teamwork and communications.

  • Available to work in Cincinnati, OH on a hybrid work schedule which may include up to 30% travel to US manufacturing sites.

PREFERRED (SKILLS / EXPERIENCES) FOR THE ROLE:

  • One or more networking certifications: CCNA, CCNA Industrial, CCNP

  • One or more security Certifications: GICSP, IEC 62443

  • Experience with applications and services.

  • Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance including ITIL, CIS

Pay Range: $85k - $115K

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
