Robert Half Medical Billing Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description We are searching for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in CINCINNATI, Ohio. In this role, you will handle all aspects of our medical billing function, ranging from patient admission to final payment. You will be primarily working within a long-term care setting, dealing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other related billing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and timely submission of all medical billing data.

• Review, correct, and validate billing data to ensure its accuracy.

• Handle the preparation, review, and submission of patient claims.

• Process payments received from insurance companies and carry out account reconciliations.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of Medicare, Medicaid, and other related billing procedures.

• Utilize Point Click Care for various billing operations regularly.

• Respond to and resolve any patient inquiries related to billing.

• Keep up-to-date with new billing regulations and procedures in long-term care settings.

• Ensure compliance and utmost accuracy in all billing matters.

• Actively manage all facets of medical billing procedures and regulations. Requirements

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Billing or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with medical billing in long-term care settings.

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, 4901, DME billing, and Part A& B.

  • Proficient in Point Click Care application.

  • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
