Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facility. Your primary focus will be on conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, gear boxes, low voltage electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical components. You will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the efficiency of our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, and gear boxes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve low voltage electrical issues.

  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on various equipment.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.

  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment issues promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food processing or similar industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, gear boxes, and low voltage electrical troubleshooting.

  • Proficient in mechanical repairs and maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
