Trihealth Inc Lead Radiology Technologist - Sharonville - $10,000.00 sign on bonus in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Overview: Under the direction of the Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, lead radiologic technologist is responsible for the daily distribution of resources and facilitating patient throughput, develops and maintains equipment QC; adhering to Ohio Department of Health/QA regulations, with the radiologists develops, and implements new procedures including training staff as needed. Maintains department exam quality through regular review of exam quality, competency evaluations of team, feedback and interaction with physicians. Performs competency evaluations of technical personnel. Works effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members, and complies with infection prevention procedures. The lead technologist also performs the duties of a radiologic technologist and senior radiologic technologist as required and must meet all licensing requirements and demonstrates ongoing proficiency in required skills. Job Requirements: Associate's Degree in Allied Health Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Radiologic Technologist, ARRT, State License Radiation Safety services, Problem Solving Skills, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR, ERCP's, Trauma, Digital Radiography, Portable X-ray equipment 1-2 years experience Clinical Allied Health in a related field Job Responsibilities: Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations. Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork. Work is completed before submitting it. Demonstrates ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures. Performs competency evaluations of technical personnel. Demonstrates the ability to lead work groups to provide quality service. Organize daily patient and team member schedules for efficient use of resources. Oversees quality of staff technologists. Maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members. Demonstrates professional demeanor while performing organizational and communication skills to better promote the well being of the department.
