Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Job Description

Shift: Thursday - Saturday Nights (6:00pm - 6:30am)

Summary:

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership to your team, driving engagement and encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Coordinate daily activities, ensuring your team is positioned to succeed and meet ambitious production targets.

  • Apply proficient use of production equipment while maintaining compliance with cGMP standards.

  • Detail experimental results accurately and demonstrate an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, priority-changing environment.

  • Follow BPR directions and area SOPs strictly to ensure compliance and safety.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including coveralls and various respirators as required.

  • Work overtime on non-scheduled days as business needs demand.

Job Scope:

  • Conduct experimental trials and produce both developmental and commercial batches, demonstrating outstanding technical and operational excellence.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

  • AA/AS degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience with SAP, IPLS BI Launchpad, and Microsoft Word/Office.

Equivalency:

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Proficiencies:

  • Ability to encourage and foster innovation, collaboration, and team efficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift containers up to 75 lbs. and manually move drums up to 250 lbs.

  • Competence in mechanical work and proficiency in basic computer usage are required.

  • Handle material movements up to 70 Kg and lift containers up to 50 Kg throughout the shift.

  • Wear PPE including tyvek coveralls and various styles of respirators.

  • Use of stand-up forklift and walkie stacker required.
