The Inside Sales Manager manages the activities of the Market Areas' Inside Sales Representatives and provides an accomplished level of expertise identifying, negotiating and selling waste and recycling services over the telephone to prospects / customers resulting in additional revenue. They also work with Area management to develop and implement appropriate sales and marketing packages to meet current and future customer needs as well as provide guidance and direction to the inside sales staff. Responsibilities of Position: Build a strategic plan to consolidate all inside sales from region lead to area lead design which will include building a comprehensive playbook to understand roles and responsibilities of direct reports, coverage models for each region, allocation of assets, optimal organization structure. Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions. Communicates to and works with the Area Sales Manager and/or Regions to help resolve unique customer issues, and to understand specific needs of each unique market Demonstrate strong leadership skills and ensure that inside sales employees comply with company policies. Forecasts, recruits and trains qualified candidates for available Inside Sales positions. Follows an effective step-by-step process of handling in-bound calls and closing sales. Educating inside sales staff on effectively answering common customer questions developing and executing ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions. Encourages feedback and is available to answer questions, provide direction and/or offer assistance when needed. Motivate inside sales staff to achieve sales targets while maintaining an accurate record of all leads and actual sales. Regularly evaluates the performance of the inside sales team overseeing activities ensuring team members meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales and lead generation. Addressing and resolving customer complaints. Utilize market analysis tools to determine customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity. Updates all Inside Sales Representative reference material as appropriate. Assists in the communication of market intelligence, providing guidance to the Market Area's pricing and service strategies. Sets up and maintains accurate customer records for all customer interactions. This includes prospect data, contracts, work orders and service documentation. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility: This position will manage 6 to 20 employees. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Has the ability build a strategic plan and then execute that plan.
