Description

Robert Half is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant for ongoing opportunities in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Job Summary:

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the HR department. You will assist with various HR tasks and activities, ensuring the smooth flow of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist with job postings and applicant tracking system (ATS) management.

  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.

  • Conduct initial screenings and reference checks.

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.

  • Assist in organizing and filing HR documents, such as contracts, policies, and forms.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

  • Help with benefits enrollment and changes.

  • Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

HR Reporting:

  • Generate HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other key metrics.

  • Assist in analyzing HR data and trends.

  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory compliance.

Training and Development:

  • Support training initiatives by scheduling sessions and tracking attendance.

  • Assist in maintaining training records and evaluations.

  • Coordinate employee development activities.

HR Communications:

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related communications.

  • Maintain the HR section of the company's intranet or communication platform.

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are accessible to employees.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Previous experience in an HR assistant role or related HR functions is a plus.

  • Familiarity with HR software and systems.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
