Job Title: General Labor 1st shift $18/hour
Job Description
We are looking for an individual to join our solid surface department. The role involves performing various woodworking and carpentry-related tasks in the shop. The ideal candidate will have a high mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn how to build countertops, ledges, and vanity tops out of solid surface materials.
Responsibilities
Perform various woodworking and carpentry tasks.
Build countertops, ledges, and vanity tops out of solid surface materials.
Utilize hand tools such as sanders, routers, and other power tools.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Essential Skills
High mechanical aptitude.
Experience using hand tools (sanders, routers).
Ability to learn new construction techniques.
Teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in wood finishing, including spraying stain, paint, and topcoats.
Knowledge of fabricating and seaming solid surface products.
Familiarity with general woodworking tools and methods.
Willingness to be trained through employment.
Proficiency in using a tape measure.

Work Environment
This role is based in a custom commercial casework manufacturing facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. For over 35 years, we have specialized in precision cabinetry and millwork for healthcare, office, and retail environments. We use the most current CNC machinery available and have a team of the finest fabricators. Our smaller facility fosters a family environment, though it is not temperature-controlled and can be dirty and dusty. The work shift is 1st shift, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
