Hanchett Paper Company Director of Strategic Sales for Healthcare Packaging in Cincinnati, Ohio

The Director of Sales, Healthcare will oversee strategic solutions for contract packaging and supply chain within the Healthcare vertical market. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, executing, and managing new contract packaging business growth and expansion opportunities for Shorr Packaging. Specifically, the identification of the needs of the Healthcare packaging industry, the appropriate solution set and the coordination of industry trends and data to create a go-to-market strategy. Additionally, the selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead the business as Shorr's subject matter expert in the healthcare packaging field to drive company growth. You will author and collaborate with marketing and suppliers' to develop Shorr Packaging's capabilities to acquire new customers, penetrate new and existing accounts, and establish a strong competitive advantage in the healthcare market. You will drive a sense of urgency through your leadership and communication skills cross-functionally. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert as it relates to medical packaging for the salesforce nationwide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Initiate and execute, in collaboration with Leadership, the strategic plan for the contract packaging business utilizing and optimizing existing assets and capabilities. Research and identify target markets, perform strategic analysis, as well as develop and execute the strategic business plan Utilize contract manufacturing sales experience to identify strategic business opportunities within Shorr Packaging's existing customer base as well as prospect new customers Aggressively drive sales volume and close opportunities Develop in-depth knowledge of Shorr Packaging capabilities so you can widely promote our solutions Identify and present viable opportunities that align best with Shorr Packaging and our co-packing business capabilities and assets Collaborate with internal stakeholders in bid development and contract execution Draft business contracts including quotes, proposals, and agreements for prospective customers Partner with Shorr Packaging financial team to track and communicate new revenue and earnings generated by Contract Packaging Conduct business and build strong relationships using all communication mediums Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communications throughout and beyond the business development cycle Manage and report sales funnel including full detail of the opportunity Will build a team of direct reports Define and drive KPIs and analytics for tracking, measuring success, and reporting to leadership Responsible for following safety/regulatory policies and procedures, executing responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and reporting safety/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager Other duties as required Domestic travel up to 40% of the time Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; and seven plus years of experience in the contract manufacturing industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated ability to create and execute a business development strategy Demonstrated experience in the healthcare field with packaging and program management Distribution and warehouse operations experience a plus Strong MS Office skills Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus Hunter-focused mentality with the ability to be assertive in prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals Resourceful at identifying new sales prospects and tools to close the deal Proven negotiation and influencing skills leading to winning and sustaining new business Experience driving a team to meet and exceed sales targets Successful tea
