Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Cincinnati, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Work You'll Do Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document, support creation of interface specifications, and call flows for the various components in the design. • 50% Travel required nationally • Telecommuting permitted • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following: • Utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in various industries; • Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Rally; • Developing functional specifications for custom development and interfacing with external systems, utilizing context diagrams, User stories, As-Is process model, Use Case diagrams, and Mind Maps; • Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress, utilizing Smartsheet, SAP Fieldglass, Clarity Project and Portfolio Management, and Microsoft (MS) tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project; • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, utilizing Smartsheet, Jira, User story mapping, Use Case diagrams, Confluence, and process maps; • Tracking and reporting on project milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Azure Boards; • Utilizing Jira and JMeter to support User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of solutions; and • Analyzing and documenting current state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future state and to-be systems, utilizing MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and Lucid Charts.
