This role will be based in Ohio with a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work at one of our Tetra Tech offices. This position supports Tetra Tech's municipal and industrial water and wastewater market. The selected candidate shall experience a unique opportunity to be involved with SCADA projects located in various areas of the country , working with a team of in-house experts in all disciplines. Our team delivers automation services to improve operational efficiency, increase reliability, and enhance safety. Our clients gain improved visibility and control for energy and chemical usage, process optimization, and equipment maintenance and repair . We accomplish this through SCADA design, integration, programming, process/energy efficiency, and optimization, system optimization with real-time control, and AI and software solutions. Your Role: Perform PLC and HMI programming, SCADA system design, simulation and testing, and startup assistance. Conduct simulations and testing, and offer initial support for startups.; Create and maintain equipment documentation and drawings Investigate and resolve production problems involving equipment software and hardware failures Maintain and grow solid client relationships (internal and external). Assist in the development of company programming standards and templates; Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or related technical degree is preferred 3+ years of related automation/controls experience with HMI's, PLC's and general SCADA integration Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Experience with Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 5000 PLC software), Industrial Communication Networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet etc.), and Seimens Step 7 is a plus Knowledge of HMI software platforms such as Wonderware InTouch & System Platform; Rockwell FactoryTalk View (SE and ME); GE iFIX is preferred. Knowledge of VTScada; Ignition by Inductive Automation; Experience with MSSQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Wonderware Information Server, Rockwell FactoryTalk VantagePoint is a plus; Position requires periodic travel, approximately 25% of overnight travel to support start up and troubleshooting activities About Tetra Tech Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
