Description

We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and currently have an opening for a AutoCAD Designer/Product Technician. In this role, you'll be expected to prepare detailed drawings, manage incoming quotes, and generate necessary work instructions for all departments.

Responsibilities:

AutoCAD Design experience - Manufacturing Industry experience preferred.

• Develop detailed technical drawings from rough sketches or notes

• Manage incoming project quotes from the sales team and create finished designs based on customer requirements

• Utilize engineering practices and knowledge of various machines to draft operation instructions and drawings of dies necessary for forging, stamping, or other processes

• Check dimensions of parts, materials used, and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project to optimize material yield

• Identify manufacturing time per workstation for each completed part

• Generate and input necessary Bills-of-Material or products to serve as work instructions, along with product drawings

• Create Method of Manufacturing to ensure accurate planning and scheduling in all departments

• Make necessary adjustments or changes to assist production Supervisors with quoting

• Manage all EP conversion needs in collaboration with the roll media production scheduler

• Assist in planning and scheduling responsibilities as needed

• Ensure department KPIs are met or exceeded.

Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Product Technician

• Proficiency in 3D Modeling is required

• Demonstrable experience in AB Testing

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven customer service experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting

• Expertise in using AutoCAD software

• Strong skills in CAD - Computer Aided Drafting or Design are essential Innovation starts with people.®
