For more information visit gobearcats.com. Job Overview The University of Cincinnati, Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Coordinator of Athletic Facilities and Operations. Reporting to the Assistant AD, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and use of university athletic facilities for practices and events while following all departmental, university, conference, and NCAA policies and regulations. Essential Functions Coordinate facility setup of tables, chairs, stages, platforms, lighting, volleyball floor, barricades, score tables etc., in athletic facilities. Ensure facilities are game day ready. Collaborate as needed with Facilities Management, Public Safety, Parking Services, other campus departments, outside agencies, promoters and UC athletic team staff. Hire and train student employees and external labor groups to assist in events and changeovers. Track expenses associated with labor. Serve as part of the event management team for UC Football and occasionally other assigned sports/events. Coordinate all efforts to ensure all parties are empowered to conduct their functions during events held in athletic venues. Troubleshoot and problem solve to reduce disruption. Inspect equipment and facilities to assure proper use and maintenance. Proposes purchasing plans for replacement of worn out and outdated equipment. May be required to drive a university vehicle and/or students. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
