The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy is seeking a MD academic clinician educator to provide leadership focused in the areas of clinical Rheumatology and education. This opportunity provides the ability to work in a collaborative manner within and across divisions and departments in the medical center. Availability for research based on interest is available. Essential Functions Precepting fellows, residents and/or medical students in an ambulatory and inpatient setting. Provide lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or fellowship curriculum. Diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system that are frequently the result of immune system dysfunction. Diagnosis and management of a variety of rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders. Patient care responsibilities include, but are not limited to, outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital service and consultations. Teaching and training learners at multiple levels in the education process. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Medical Degree (MD). Completion of 4-year Internal Medicine residency/training. Completion of 2-year Rheumatology fellowship/training. Ohio Medical License. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
