Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist, based in CINCINNATI, Ohio. The role involves managing and organizing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving credit inquiries. This role is also responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and implementing solutions for delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Implement appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Code and enter A/P invoices

• Manage credit card accounts and small bank reconciliations

• Perform A/R collections and assist with the billing process

• Use various accounting software systems including Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel

• Perform billing functions and manage collection processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform Billing Functions

• Understanding of Collection Processes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
