Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Your Role

The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our customers experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with Kuehne + Nagel. Specifically, the Customer Care Specialist is part of a team within our CCL’s – Customer Care Locations, who are responsible for direct interaction with our customers, proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, interaction with our sales colleagues and equally as important, ensuring that our Operational Care Centers (OCC’s) have all of the necessary information (including systematic information) to be able to execute on our customer behalf.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible to handle/ follow up deviation issues cases for own clients/transports.

  • Coordinate work with other Kuehne+Nagel products/offices/departments/team nationally to optimize workflow and maintain high client loyalty.

  • Participate in client continuous improvements in accordance with company vision, strategy and mission.

  • Secure proper and high quality internal and external reporting and system registration, FSL closure and other relevant reporting.

  • Proactively seek to learn, understand and act as an advisor on logistics and forwarding solutions for clients and the respective market/ industry.

  • Represent the company in internal, external and relevant virtual forums.

  • Understand, follow and promote Kuehne+Nagel Code of Conduct

  • Report to Air Logistics Manager

  • Shifts: Monday- Friday 8:30 am-5pm (onsite)

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience

  • 1+ year of Air Logistics

  • 1+ year of Customer Service experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
