Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This role serves as a critical bridge connecting local markets with Accounts Payable and Workflow Processing departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle non-PO invoices for coding, approval, and submitting to Accounts Payable.

• Dispatch W-9 forms for emerging vendors and troubleshoot their issues within Accounts Payable.

• Oversee recurring payments ensuring their execution in a timely and consistent manner.

• Expertise in using the OnBase Workflow platform to channel invoices, troubleshoot invoice issues and conduct user training.

• Maintain an efficient system for invoice collection, entry, and reconciliation.

• Supervise the management of lease payments, ensuring a smooth collection of invoices.

• Ensure that all auditable documentation is stored timely in the system.

• Answer and address inquiries about payment status in a professional and courteous manner.

• Regularly update supplier database in both ERP and eProcure systems.

• Assist vendors with registration processes; including communication on invoice emailing procedures and updating remittance addresses in eProcurement software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent.

• Prior accounts payable work experience.

• Proficiency in computer usage, especially ERP, eProcure, and OnBase Workflow platform.

• Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and vLookups are required.

• Superior written and oral communication skills.

• Committed to delivering excellent customer service and process improvement.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries.

• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems and Accounting Functions.

• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.

• Understanding and experience in Accrual Accounting.

• Demonstrable skills in Auditing.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.

• Experience with OnBase software is required.

• Proficiency in using Workday and Workday ERP systems.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.
