Breakthru Beverage Group Field Sales Manager U3- On Premise Fine Dining in Cicero, Illinois

Overview

Manage the strategic coverage of all on and off premise outlets in territory. Drive volume and profit growth in channel on an annual, monthly customer and brand basis. Develop team through delivery of territory key performance indicators. Create and deploy long term strategic vision with key local accounts.

Salary and Benefit Statement:

Any offered salary is determined based on the collective bargaining unit, internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.

Salary Range: $67,200- $84,000 + $4,800 annual car allowance

This position is eligible to participate in a bonus and incentives program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.

This position is eligible for union benefits including health care, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations, and deliverables.

  2. Ongoing training and development of Sales Representatives/Associates through continued instruction of the Field Training Reports during regularly scheduled in field work withs, market surveys, and observance of sales team meetings.

  3. Ensure all tools are in place to support attainment of goals and objectives.

  4. Ensure Succession Planning and Coaching is implemented throughout their team.

  5. Train, coach, and motivate direct reports to deliver maximum impact in the market.

  6. Drive volume and profit growth in On or Off premise channel on an annual, monthly customer and brand basis.

  7. Maintain strong relationships with customer base.

  8. Provide on-going and current assessments of the results of plans by channel, key account, and individual customer.

  9. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales

  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

  • Analytic and Reporting skills

  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience

  • Relevant cross-functional experience (finance, operations, IT, project management, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone

  • Required to drive frequently.

  • Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Competencies:

  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.

  • Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
