Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of all machines and work processes. You will complete simple preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled, uphold safety standards, and thoroughly document all maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of all machines and work processes.

  • Complete simple preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure machining efficiency.

  • Maintain safety standards and a safe working environment.

  • Thoroughly and accurately document all maintenance work orders completed.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair

  • Experience with mechanical drawings

  • Servicing different pumps

  • Knowledge of different types of bearings

  • Pneumatic and hydraulic experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a production or industrial maintenance environment

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

Work Environment

The role involves rotating shifts every 28 days between 1st and 3rd shifts, typically Monday through Friday with no weekends. The first shift runs from 6:30am to 3:15pm. The work environment is indoor, climate-controlled, and fast-paced. No medical certifications or personal protective equipment are required.
