Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and work processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, maintaining safety standards, and documenting all completed maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all machines and work processes.

• Complete simple preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure machining efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

• Thoroughly and accurately document all completed maintenance work orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience with mechanical drawings.

• Experience servicing different pumps.

• Knowledge of the differences between various types of bearings.

• Pneumatic and hydraulic experience.

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a production or industrial maintenance environment.

• Experience with conveyors and preventive maintenance.

• Experience working with cylinders and rebuilding them.

• Comfortable troubleshooting conveyor issues and familiarity with different types of conveyors.

• Knowledge of tools used for cutting chains and specialized tools for measuring mechanical components.

Work Environment

This position involves rotating shifts every 28 days between 1st and 3rd shifts, Monday through Friday, usually with no weekends. The first shift runs from 6:30 am to 3:15 pm. The work environment is indoor, climate-controlled, and fast-paced. No medications, certifications, or personal protective equipment are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cibolo, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr.
