In addition, this position may assist with many aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), First Article Inspection (FAI), customer audits, and third party audits such as Nadcap & AS/ISO. Job Duties: Review and disposition of non-compliant material. Evaluation of process problems to determine root cause and corrective/preventative actions. Assess and analyze current defect rates/trends. Performs investigations, analyzes process problems and provides assistance in resolving problem areas. Prepare reports, documents and procedures in support of QA efforts, updates as needed. Makes recommendations for change as required for more robust process control. Work with operators, inspector(s), suppliers and Process Engineering on daily questions or issues that arise from general daily activities. Enhances communication between supervisors and engineers regarding QA efforts by providing data, analysis, and recommendations for improvement. Participate in corrective action activities and support customer requests and requirements Support failure analysis activities as requested. Performs special assignments as required, including but not limited to supplier audits and evaluations, defect reduction teams (DRT). Familiarity with FMEA, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis and Error Proofing tools.
