Job Title: 1st Shift Assembly Operator
Job Description
We are searching for a 1st shift Assembly Operator to help support our production staff. The ideal candidate will perform tasks related to assembling work in progress (WIP) parts to produce finished goods (FG) through various processes including sonic welding, heat staking, gluing, inserting screws, and other assembly processes to meet customer and ISO standards. This role includes inspecting, labeling, milling, routing, punching, sanding, inserting, making, and packaging of plastic parts.
Responsibilities
Inspect, label, mill, route, punch, sand, insert, make, and package plastic parts.
Document production and scrap on daily sheets, including labels, production tags, and hourly rate sheets.
Report defects or issues to the supervisor.
Work safely at all times and comply with OSHA standards.
Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the shift supervisor or management.
Essential Skills
Basic communication skills, both oral and written.
Basic math skills.
Ability to understand and retain directions well.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Previous experience in injection molding or manufacturing assemblies.
Experience in assembly, machine shop, or production environments.
G-code editing and/or experience working with presses.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite with a schedule of Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm. The work environment regularly exposes employees to moving mechanical parts, occasional high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and frequent vibration. The noise level is usually moderate and may require hearing protection in specific locations. Employees are required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel, talk or hear, walk and stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In some roles, wearing a respirator or ear plugs may be necessary.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $45000.00/yr.
