Operations Support Specialist Chicopee, MA, USA 23-27 per hour Hourly Full Time 401k, dental, life, medical, vision Are you interested in basic IT and facilities? Notch Mechanical Constructors is searching for an Operations Support Specialist! The Operations Support Specialist is integral to ensuring the craft leadership personnel are equipped with the necessary equipment and technological tools to get their job done efficiently. This individual will lead in the areas of Technical IT support for all field crews, and facilities management. They are also responsible for supporting the VP of Operations with a range of duties including, but not limited to, facilities maintenance, vendor management, and technical support. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Facility Management: Assist the VP of Operations in managing building maintenance, janitorial work, and facility renovations. Liaise with facilities vendors regarding billing, contracts, and feedback. Coordinate with contractors and in-house teams for maintenance and construction needs. Technical & IT Support: Resolve technology user interface issues for all operations personnel. Provide app support for craft personnel, handling queries, clarifications, and technical issues. Oversee company devices, including phones, tablets, and printers, ensuring they are up-to-date and functional. Work closely with Syscon for technical support and maintenance of operations infrastructure. Handle data, VOIP account management, and maintain fiber optic and cable lines infrastructure. Functional Requirements: Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask. Familiarity with technical support, device management, and basic IT functions. Effective communication skills to liaise with various organizational stakeholders. Education and Experience: High Diploma or GED Proficient in IT and other technologies Proficient in Microsoft Suits Experience in Operations preferred Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds may be required. Ability to stand, climb, walk, sit, talk, and hear for extended periods depending on task. Ability to operate a keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
